Hi, I'm Jenny Vickers - a communications specialist, event manager and professional writer in New Jersey. After growing up all over the world and studying creative writing and international studies in North Carolina, I moved to New Jersey where I work for one of the largest environmental non-profit organizations in the country, Clean Water Action, and write articles for Business Facilities, a leading economic development magazine and Yellow House Media, a consulting firm in Trinidad/Tobago.

My attention to detail, keen organization and multitasking skills, and talent for creating compelling copy has helped me succeed as a communications specialist, event manager, and writer.

My extensive non-profit and business development experience includes:

• Managing programs, conferences, and charity fundraising events.
• Producing marketing materials and running social media and multimedia campaigns.
• Writing web copy, blogs, newsletter content, press releases, and fundraising and action-oriented emails.
• Managing all aspects of communications with members, staff, board, and national communications team.
• Assisting with government and foundation research, donor and board member development, and key account management.
• Publishing articles on a wide variety of topics including digital media, new and emerging technologies, business incentives, economic investment, renewable energy/energy efficiency, and sustainability.
